Gifts of Light in Action
As human beings, we require more than food and shelter. We need meaningful connection with others, access to basic necessities and everyday comforts, and activities to occupy our minds and give us purpose. People living with mental illness are no different, and yet, the funding gaps in our health care system do not account for these essentials.
Since 2008, it has been our mission to improve the patient experience at CAMH by providing everyday essentials, unique activities, and meaningful experiences. Thanks to the generosity of our donors and sponsors, Gifts of Light now helps over 14,000 CAMH patients a year find the hope, strength, and courage they need to get through their hardest days and find a better tomorrow.
