From now until Friday, May 10th, I’m showcasing my hidden talent in support of mental health! In the past One Brave Night was a challenge for participants to stay up until dawn the next day to stand in solidarity with those who suffer from mental illness as nighttime can sometimes be the hardest, loniliest and scariest. This year they have changed it as staying up all night could pose health risk to some. BUT I would like to continue this tradition and as my "showcasing hidden talent" will be to stay awake all night (until sunrise). Staying awake in the past has been particularly difficult for me from my own mental health battle - it is a personal obstacle that feels good to overcome!
CAMH One Brave Night is a chance to share a piece of myself with the world for a great cause. By braving the night I hope that we can inspire hope for the one in five Canadians who experience mental illness every year.
Please donate today and help me reach my fundraising goal.
Together we will break down stigma, fund innovative research, and provide access to new and promising treatments for people living with mental illness.
