CAMH One Brave Night is a chance to share a piece of myself with the world for a great cause. I am excited (and a bit nervous!) to express my passion and creativity, so we can inspire hope for the one in five Canadians who experience mental illness every year. Please donate today and help me reach my fundraising goal. Together we will break down stigma, fund innovative research, and provide access to new and promising treatments for people living with mental illness.
Welcome to my One Brave Night event and challenge.
Dear Friends: I am someone who has suffered silently for decades with an unknown mental health challenge. Severe depression is now recognized as a legitimate mental health issue. My participation in the CAMH sponsored Workman Arts has been instrumental in my healing journey. Workman Arts has given me a safe space and a platform to develop and reveal my true art and I am well on the journey of recovery.
I am hosting and presenting an evening of Storytelling, Poetry and Music to celebrate this cause and would love to have you attend. This is a fundraiser for One Brave Night and if you live in the Toronto area please do come:
May 9th from 7:00 to 10:00 p.m. at 153 Spadina Road
For those who cannot attend please support my fundraising efforts by making donation to the fund #onebravenight. I hope to raise $500 for this worthy cause. Please don't be shy. Any amount will do. $10 or $20 It all adds up.
Thank you for your support and friendship.
