In 2014, I sought treatment at CAMH for depression and anxiety. After diagnosing me with PTSD, they found a good fit for me in terms of medication, provided interim counselling, and set me up with a referral for exposure therapy.
The mental health care that I received saved my life.I want to give back. I want everyone to have access to the care that I received, and to know that there's nothing wrong with needing it.
We're not broken, weak, or wrong. We're human. And we deserve care.
