For the third year in a row I am stepping up to defeat mental illness!
I have suffered the affects of mental illness first hand and have lost loved ones to it. That is why this event is very important to me. Raising awareness for such a stigmented health challenge is incredibly important to me and I hope that one day people will start treating it as they would a broken arm, lost limb or heart attack.
This year, as I have been every year I have participated so far, I will be accompanied by my BFF Rachel who I have been through incredibly tough times with. She has helped pull me out of some of the darkest corners and has been an incredible beam of light and inspiration to me! <3
This night will always be dedicated to my Gramps and childhood friend Lou Robson, both of whom lost the battle to the demons and the world lost to suicide.

The CAMH One Brave Night for Mental Health challenge is a Canada-wide challenge to inspire hope for Canadians living with mental illness.
I took the #OneBraveNight challenge because I want to inspire hope for people living with mental illness now – and to defeat mental illness. By making a donation to my One Brave Night, you are helping CAMH improve access to care, conduct research to find better treatments, and build more spaces for healing.
This is our chance to step up! Please donate generously and help me reach my fundraising goal.
