On May 10, I'm participating in CAMH One Brave Night for Mental Health. I'll be stay up all night and experience emerging from darkness to inspire hope for the 1 in 5 Canadians who experience mental illness in any given year. As an added bonus, I'll be coming out of the shadows to showcase a hidden talent and will be uploading a video of me playing my guitar along with Johnny Cash's version of "I Won't Back Down".
The Centre for Addiction and Mental Health (CAMH) is Canada's largest mental health and addiction teaching hospital, as well as one of the world's leading research centres in the area of addiction and mental health. CAMH combines clinical care, research, education, policy development and health promotion to help transform the lives of people affected by mental health and addiction issues. This year, I'm the Team Captain for CAMH Engage (a dynamic and passionate group of young professionals focused on strategy and fundraising initiatives in support of the Centre for Addiction and Mental Health Foundation), and I'm leading our team efforts to raise over $20,000 and I need your help!
I greatly appreciate your support and will keep you posted on my progress.
Thank you so much for all your support!
Sincerely,
Sandeep J. Joshi
