2019 One Brave Night for Mental Health

Warriors Against the Parasites of the Mind

"We can rebel and say 'No!' We can declare a war against the parasite, a war against the Judge and the Victim, a war for our independence, a war for the right to use our own mind and our own brain." - Eckhart Tolle, The Four Agreements

This will be the 4th year that this team is participating in One Brave Night and the campaign to promote mental health awareness, open the discussions about our unseen struggles and eliminate the stigma tied to mental illness. This time with a brand-new name inspired by some of the many wise and inspirational words of Eckhart Tolle.

As the members and supporters of this team carry out their own internal wars, we also wage to promote the importance if the internal battle and remind everyone that you can fight your war too, and you don't have to do it alone! If you want to join our team, we are happy to have you. If you want to support us from afar, donations to CAMH will help countless people get the help that they need to be able to live their best lies, despite their encounters will mental illness.
For those unfamiliar with One Brave Night, participants stay up all night on Friday, May 10th in tribute the hardest times for those with mental illness - the dark, quiet, lonely hours while everyone is sleeping.

CAMH has declared a theme this year of showcasing our hidden talents in support of mental health! We are a multitalented team, for sure, but would love some input for what talents our supporters would like to see. Leave a comment with your donation of what you want to see - one of us sing a song, draw/paint something, dance a jig, write a story...anything! You name it, we'll do it!

Please donate today and help us reach our fundraising goal.

Together we will break down stigma, fund innovative research, and provide access to new and promising treatments for people living with mental illness.
