Rachel and I are back again this year, raising money and awareness for mental health and sharing our love of board gaming. Every year Rachel and I run a month long charity challenge that culminates in the O'Sullivan Cup, our household board game championship trophy. We do this to have some fun but more importantly to bring focus, attention and hopefully a little cash to causes we care about.
Last year thanks to your incredibly generous donations we raised $800 ($1400 in the two years we've been doing this!), and this year we're hoping to take our total raised lifetime to $2,000. Donations are tax deductible and we appreciate all the love and support you give us during this campaign!

So why CAMH and Mental Health?
In recent years I've been openly confronting and sharing his battle with anxiety and depression. Around the time I started coming to terms with my mental health issues I discovered board games and started getting involved in the local board game scene. Board games have opened the door to friendships and helped keep me mentally and emotionally stimulated on some rough days. We hope that by sharing through this campaign and challenge we can help show a little light in the dark.
Thank you for following along, donating and sharing your own stores with us...
This year we are supporting CAMH, Canada's leading mental health hospital.
Did you know that 1 in 5 Canadians experience mental illness in any given year?
And yet many don't consider it a real health issue.
With your support, we can change attitudes, behaviours and culture. We can drive action and make a difference. We can shape a world where mental illness is seen in the same light as every other illness, and all people receive the level of care they need and deserve. A world where Mental Health is Health.
Please donate today and help me reach my fundraising goal.
Together we can break down stigma, fund innovative research, and provide access to new and promising treatments for people living with mental illness.
