Rough start this morning, out the door at 5am and riding across the city to meet up with the team was tough. So today's CAMH Affirmation message rang true to my mood..."I rise to show people with mental illness that they are not alone. I am not alone."

Today is Day 2 of the #CAMHSunriseChallenge where we rise with the sun to honour and advocate for those lost to, or struggling with mental illness.

I rise for others, to offer compassion, love and kindness. So many people struggling, so many in my community and beyond that could use that little extra light. I get to share that energy and put it out for whoever needs it.
